nothing is really wrong with your team except you have several players off to a slow start or slumping.

prince, v-mart, manny, rios and howard are all off to a slow start or slumping. one thing that stands out is that your team doesn’t have a ton of speed. you might want to deal yunel, kendrick for a speedy 2B. even your 2B is not bad and you MAY have enough speed if your entire OF can steal about 30 bases each which is a distinct possibility. i would probably drop alou and pick up bourn to get some of his speed on those travel days where you can start him. i would also look to deal penny. not sure what he can bring back, he’d probably have to be packaged up to get any sort of value from him.

your pitching staff should come around with CC pitching better, and hopefully bedard starts pitching like the ace he’s supposed to be. if you get frustrated with Penny, pick up fuentes or rauch (both of them are o pretty bad teams now, i like fuentes stuff more but you’re doing it for the saves i would imagine.)
